Notes

Wilmslow/Manchester football brand; Nike owned it 2008-2012. Iconix is a pure licensing company (also Lee Cooper, Ed Hardy, Rocawear, Starter), so all Umbro product is licensee-made; Umbro China was sold separately. Very common TK Maxx menswear/sports name.

A second research pass found

  • Owner: Iconix International

Nike sold Umbro to Iconix in Dec 2012; Iconix was taken private by Lancer Capital in 2021. The Manchester-founded brand is now made entirely by regional licensees (apparel, footwear, replica kit).
