Founded 1995 by David Conibere; in July 2025 family-owned distributor Gardiner Bros (Sperry, Hush Puppies and Muck Boot licensee, roots 1860) took Base London into its business, reported as an acquisition, with Conibere saying he was passing 'the baton to Gardiner Bros'. Terms were not disclosed, and Companies House still lists Tregarron Ltd and David Conibere as PSCs of the old trading company Base London International Ltd (03798874), so whether the brand rights or the company changed hands is not confirmed.
